Milodamalo

Maxim Nizov (born in Severodvinsk in 1985) and Maria Surkova (born in Leningrad in 1988) graduated from the Faculty of Environmental Design of the State Academy of Art and Industry in St. Petersburg named after Alexander von Stieglitz and in 2009 opened the architecture and design studio MILODAMALO, a new, small studio with big ideas. Their philosophy lies in measuring space and things not so much in square meters or examples, but in the exclusivity and originality of the idea.
Since 2009 the studio has been developing atypical spaces and objects. The company’s basic idea is to study and create exclusive architectural and design solutions. MILODAMALO has won numerous Russian and international competitions in the field of architecture and design and has created architectural projects and industrial design objects, such as an office furniture line.
